The brief

It is a sector with a visual code so fixed that it has gone invisible: saturated green, serrated leaves, psychedelic type. The shop sells growing equipment, substrates, lighting and a CBD line to an adult audience that buys on technical knowledge, not on transgression. The task was to leave the cliché behind without disowning what is sold, and to do it in the shop’s physical space as well.

The solution

A Valencian barraca — the farmhouse of the huerta that gives the business its name — whose roof is the leaf. The sector shows up, but subordinate to a local, recognisable figure. Earthy orange and blue-grey instead of the obligatory green, inside a circle that works just as well die-cut on a bag, lettered on the shop window or shrunk to a jar sticker.
