The brief

Recreology designs and installs large-format pieces inspired by fauna and flora: whales, spiders, nests, forests. They are exuberant objects, in saturated colours and narrative silhouettes, that also compete in public tenders where bids are assessed by council technical staff. A showy brand would have clashed head-on with the product.

The solution

A lower-case logotype, geometric and unadorned, in white on slate grey. Deliberately quiet: the colour and the fantasy come from the structures, and the brand just signs them. That neutrality is also what lets it sit alongside the technical spec, the installation drawing and the plate bolted to the piece itself.
