The brief

A family business from the Valencian huerta since 1944, now in its third generation. Piel de sapo melon, watermelon, squash, white celery, spring onion, garrofón beans and cut fruit. The brand does not live on a website or in a curated shop window: it lives on stacked field crates, on labels a few centimetres wide stuck to a rough rind, and in plastic netting. Anything subtle disappears.

The solution

A yellow oval with a gold edge and the surname in red with a dark outline, plus the “es calidad” the firm has been using for three generations. It is a deliberately emphatic choice: the oval isolates the brand from the noise of the shelf, the yellow holds up under warehouse light and the outlined red survives direct printing on corrugated cardboard.
